Sensory Toys for Autism

Sensory toys were designed to aid sensory perceptions and development in children with autism. These toys have the power to improve concentration and focus, while relieving anxiety. However, each child with autism is unique and sometimes certain toys can aid their behavior. Click below to learn more about the different levels of autism and the toys that can aid those behaviors.

Toys for Level 1 Autism

Level 1 Autism is considered to be the most "high-functioning" form of autism. Some behaviors include difficulty with social cues, difficulty understanding boundaries, and difficulty with organization.

Toys for Level 2 Autism

Level 2 Autism is the middle-range in terms of severity in autism. They will have more difficulty than level 1 autism. Some behaviors include struggles with nonverbal communication, engagement in repetitive behvaiors, and difficulty with adaptability.

Toys for Level 3 Autism

Level 3 Autism is the most severe form of autism. Behaviors will be similiar to levels 1 and 2, however it will typically be more severe. Some behaviors include little to no verbal communication and struggles with unexpected events.
